About Us

Herman Institute Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Jakarta, Indonesia which established in 2013. We want to be useful to our nation and society.

We have been focusing in developing people by facilitating them with skills and knowledges, working directly with local communities to sustainably managing their own natural and social resources. We believe mental revolution and mindset transformation is clearly needed to enlighten peoples lives and also helping them out from the poverty cycle. A famous quote once says “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”.

Herman Institute builds capacity and awareness while providing leadership and organizational support. The foundation works sporadically and maintains its low profile since establishment, and didn’t published its activities heavily, because we believe that helping people must be sincere and does not need to be heavily publicized. However, over the time we learn and agree that we need to do branding to introduce the foundation to many people out there who might want to contribute and help and also reaching out to more people who require help as well. We aims to be an independent, non political, reputable and trusted social institution in Indonesia.

Besides the activities related with capacity building and also mindset transformation we also provide charity helps on healthcare in cooperation with other foundations/communities.
